Active Ingredients

Grapeseed Oil

Providing significant health benefits, grapeseed oil is a potent blend of antioxidants that is processed from the seeds of grapes as a by-product of making wine.

The oldest known wine-making facility was discovered in Armenia, and grapes are native to the Mediterranean, parts of Europe and Central Asia.

The skin loves grapeseed oil; vitamins C and E help improve the skin’s elasticity and softness.

It can also help prevent disease and protect against:

  • oxidative stress
  • tissue damage
  • inflammation
  • poor circulation
  • high cholesterol
  • and high blood pressure

For many pets, it can act as an anti-allergenic and anti-inflammatory treatment, providing healthier tissue, shiner coat, stronger teeth and gums, and a reduced risk of heart disease and cancer.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is pressed from the avocado tree fruit (not the seed), which contains approximately 60% oil. Although native to Central America, the avocado likely originated in south-central Mexico.

Avocado oil offers significant health benefits and contains vitamin E and Omega 3 fatty acids, both of which contribute to decreasing inflammation. Decreased inflammation can, in turn, can help reduce pain and stiffness (caused by osteoarthritis) in both humans and pets. It also supports healthy skin and connective tissues. Other therapeutic uses include:

  • lowering cholesterol
  • improving heart and eye health
  • enhancing the absorption of other vital nutrients
  • preventing gum disease
  • enhancing wound healing and neutralizing free radicals

Many dogs and cats can benefit from taking avocado oil as well since it has the same anti-inflammatory effect. It can especially help relieve pain and stiffness from osteoarthritis of the knee.

Lavender can be any of the several tropical, flowering plant species in the mint family. It is a vibrant purple herb native to northern Africa and the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean.

The fragrance from the lavender plant’s oils is exceptionally well known and believed to help promote calmness and wellness. Ancient cultures have long believed that lavender can help purify the mind and body, and it’s been a long time favorite to incorporate into a bedtime routine.

The benefits of using lavender are wide and varied:

  • helps treat anxiety
  • restlessness or insomnia
  • intestinal discomfort
  • acne
  • fungal infections and hair loss

It is also known to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can heal minor burns, wounds, and bug bites.

Lavender can also be used for pets since breathing the lavender helps to reduce their anxiety and stress.

Ginger is an herbaceous, flowering plant that has been used for thousands of years as medicine. Most ginger that is used in cooking and health treatments comes from the root of the plant. It originated in the warmer, southern parts of China, although it has been used historically in Japan and India for many generations.

It’s beneficial in alleviating gastrointestinal distress symptoms, preventing the symptoms of motion sickness (especially seasickness), and reducing nausea and vomiting from pregnancy (thanks to its anti-vomiting action). Ginger contains very potent anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols; it is also helpful in treating:

  • osteoarthritis
  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • menstrual cramps, and migraine headaches if used regularly.

It is also known as a powerhouse for fighting germs in the body and halting the growth of bacteria such as E. coli.

For your furry and feline friends, ginger offers many health benefits as well, from digestive relief to heartworm and cancer prevention.
